‘INTERMISSIO’
Koka Ramishvili’s large-scale solo show entitled – HORIZON – is taking place in Zurich gallery Lullin + Ferrari from October and It makes reference to the conceptual understanding of the multidimensionality of the landscape, in its own way, it continues the fundamental exploration of the history of painting regarding the structure of the image and its modes expressions.
The Tbilisi development of this theme, which is presented in Dedika’s gallery, is relatively modest in nature. Koka Ramishvili’s latest works consistently delve into the visualization of existential themes within an installation format, reflecting his enduring fascination with the subject. – It reveals in further development of sensibility, articulating differently within specific contextual realities. INTERMISSIO, signifying the pause, implies the end of one process and the commencement of a new period, which brings clarity in the perception and attitudes toward the universe.
The concept of INTERMISSIO symbolizes the programmatic change of Dedika Gallery – it is the final project of the cycle of exhibitions, after which the gallery temporarily stops exhibition activities and starts working on the future reform.
